Paola is a Strategic Partnerships and Fundraising Specialist with expertise in gender and data in humanitarian action. Prior to DFS, she supported the allocation of $3M in funding for data projects supporting gender-responsive crisis action, at the Complex Risks Analytics Fund of the UN Executive Office in New York. Previously, she also worked as a Programme Officer for the Red Cross, coordinating psycho-social support service delivery for women at 4 refugee centers in the Canary Islands, and supported MEAL for gender justice initiatives at CARE International. She writes about feminist and values-driven approaches to fundraising in her newsletter, Pitch and Purpose. Paola holds an MA in Global Thought from Columbia University.
